A delegation of traders of Vijaypur-Samba called on President Chamber of Commerce & Industry Y.V. Sharma and apprised him the difficulty being faced by people of the area due to pathetic attitude of Telecom authorities in restoring land line facilities affected due to widening of the National Highway. After one year gap, repeated reminders are being ignored by the authorities under one pretext or another, traders highlighted.
They further alleged that even the Add-ON SIM facility on Plan 325, 525, 725 has been withdrawn arbitrarily in Jammu and Kathua districts. Members took strong exception to the discriminatory and step-mothering treatment being meted to subscribers of Jammu & Kathua districts.
Castigating BSNL authorities for callous and irrational approach, President, Y.V. Sharma hoped that BSNL authorities will not only initiate measures to alleviate suffering of the land line subscribers at the earliest but will also reintroduce Add-On SIM scheme in Jammu & Kathua.
