Terrorism Affected Peoples Forum (TAPF) has reiterated its demand of constitution of a high level commission to assess the losses suffered by the people of Kishtwar, Doda, Ramban, Reasi, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch districts in Jammu during two decades long militancy.
“During the period of terrorism in Jammu province people have suffered badly in the hilly region of Jammu province. People were forced to migrate from their areas, More than 10,000 families have migrated from the hilly areas of Jammu province due to terrorism since 1990,” he said, adding that the government should announce adequate financial assistance to militancy affected people of Jammu region.
