On the occasion of Mahashivratri, the Department of Fisheries has made special arrangement for the availability and sale of fresh fish in adequate quantities at various places in the State.
Directions to this effect were given by Minister of State for Fisheries, Ajaz Ahmad Khan today, on the sidelines of a departmental review meeting.
The places include Nagrota, Mishriwalla, Muthi, Purkhoo, Bohri, Jagti, Bantalab, Talab Tilloo and Roop Nagar.
Besides, open sale at the Fish Farms, Gho Manhasan, Nowabad and Dumi has been ordered.
Minister also directed constitution of special teams to supervise the availability and check the price of the fish at these places.
