| Coalition’s policies increasing people’s miseries: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 10 Lambasting State Government for its failure to solve day to day problems of the common masses, the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) has said that miseries of the people have been increased manifold after formation of Congress-National Conference regime in the State. Addressing a function, which was organized to felicitate newly appointed Jammu District President (Rural) Suram Singh, the PDP Vice President Trilok Singh Bajwa leader said that this regime was formed with out any programme and policy and instead of solving basic problems of the common masses both leaders of Congress and National Conference have been befooling the people by making false promises. Pointing towards problems of farmers, Bajwa said that the coalition has been adopting anti-farmers policies and not interested in solving their problems. “What to say of solving problems of the people, this regime has further compounding woes of the people due to its wrong policies”, he observed. Speaking on the occasion, party general secretary Balbir Singh said that present dispensation was one of the most corrupt and anti-people regime of the State. “One year performance of this regime reflects that this government is only concerned about media publicity”, he pointed and reminded that all promises made by the National Conference in the assembly election remained only on papers. Suram Singh also addressed the gathering and assured the party workers that he as well as his team would work hard to strengthen the party at grass root level. Party MLC Sayed Asgar Ali, Daman Bhasin, Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi, Rashid Malik, Hussain Ali Bafa, R K Bali and others senior leaders also spoke on the occasion.
