311 BSF Recruits pass out from STC

Attestation cum passing out parade was held at Subsidiary Training Centre (STC), Border Security Force (BSF),here today.
As many as 311 recruits of BSF after going 36 weeks of training at STC Udhampur today took oath to protect the country in the parade. The parade was commanded by Constable Mohmmad Nazar Khan.
Const Sandeep Kumar and Const Yuvraj Singh were declared overall best in training while Constable Dharmendra Singh and Mohmmad Nazar Khan were declared overall best in drill.
Constable Shivanad and Pardeep Singh Narvaria were declared best in FPET while Constable Manjit Singh and Hari Krishan were adjudged best in firing.
Besides senior officers from army, air force, police & civil administration, family members of BSF personnel were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Goswami, Principal Secretary lauded the role being played by the BSF since its origin, years ago. He exhorted trainees & medal winners to rededicate themselves for the service to their nation & prove true to the motto to serve the nation.
Goswami commended the training staff as well as the recruits for putting up a commendable performance in the parade .He said that we are facing terrorism like threats from across the border which pass outs has to face in future.
He emphasized the importance of hard work, dedication to duty & high degree of integrity while discharging duties on the border and while dealing internal security.


Sacrifice while defending motherland will be my pleasure, said Constable Manjit Singh adding that BSF has given a chance to serve the nation. Declared overall first in firing in the passing out parade held at STC, he said “I would feel contented if serve the country on borders or fighting with terrorists which are great threat to integrity of our nation.”
Manjit said, “My parents have told me to fight bravely and give befitting reply to enemy whenever you get chance to do so and don’t care for your life.
He said my message to the youths of country is that they should remain ready to serve the nation particularly in odd hours and work for strengthening brotherhood and national integration by giving their contribution in it.
