| GMC doctor booked for "misbehaving" with patient | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 10:
Police have registered a case against a senior doctor of the Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital for allegedly "misbehaving" with a patient.
Police sources said one Meena Kumari went to Dr (radiologist) Sunil Gupta Tuesday to get her ultrasound done. While she lay under the machine, he allegedly misbehaved with her, the sources added.
The woman then lodged a complaint with the Bakshi Nagar police station, which registered a case against the doctor under section 354 of RPC.
The woman, who originally hailed from Uttar Pradesh, was a labourer by profession. She was presently putting up at Patoli. Dr Gupta, a senior radiologist in GMC, was resident of sector 1 of Subash Nagar.
