| Debate on “Science and Superstitious” held | | | Early Times Report
An inter school debate competition on the topic “Science and Superstitious” organised by
J&K State council for science and technology at Government boy’s higher secondary school, Gandhi Nagar
The activity is an endeavour on the part of JK science and technology in the direction of popularizing science. J&K state council for science and technology organizes various activities for students community and general masses pertaining to promotion of science.
The programme was inaugurated by Principal, boys higher secondary school Tarseem Lal, while Prof Nalini Kohli principal, Government college for women, Gandhi Nagar presided over the function and encouraged and appreciated the sincere efforts made by S&T department by organizing such activities.
The competition was adjudged by Lecture chemistry department. GCW Gandhi Nagar, Naveen Anand, Dr. Shabana Aftab Head department of chemistry, Government college of engineering and Vandana lecturer, electronics GCET .
The students from various institutions participated in the said activity I, II, III prizes were given to the winners from various institutions and three consolation prizes were given to the winners by the principal
Shruti Khanna department of science and technology coordinated the programme.
