| Chib calls for inculcating sportsmanship spirit | | |

JAMMU, Fed 11:
Minister for Youth Services and Sports, R S Chib, today asked the youth to imbibe sportsmanship spirit among themselves which was imperative for a disciplined life.
Chib was speaking at the valedictory function of 11th J&K State Taekwondo Championship here last evening.
Chib called upon various sports associations of the State to make coordinated efforts for upgrading the standard of sports and supplement Government efforts for improving the sports infrastructure in all the three regions of the State.
Stressing for promoting Taekwondo sports, Chib congratulated J&K Taekwondo Association President, P.C. Sharma and Organising Secretary, D.N. Rangotra for providing coaching facilities to enable them compete at National and International sports events.
The participants in the Taekwondo Championship displayed breathtaking skills which mesmerised the audience.
The Minister also distributed medals and trophies among the outstanding Taekwondo sportspersons.
