| Omar constitutes committee to ease industrial procedures | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 11: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has directed for constitution of a committee, headed by Principal Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Anil Goswami, to work for easing the procedure for obtaining various no-objection certificates by the investors for launching their ventures in the State. Responding to the demand to this effect, put forth by J&K State Council of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in its meeting with the Chief Minister here, the Chief Minster said that the Government would look into all aspects of making the procedures more easy and soft to encourage investors. The Chief Minister said that he would take up the matter of granting concessions to the investors on Central taxes with the Union Finance Minister. He said the State Government is keen to develop industrial sector and enhance the job opportunities for youth alongwith economic growth and development. The President of the Confederation, Sanjay Puri, presented a brief about the demands of the Confederation.
