JAMMU, Feb 12:
A huge cache of arms and ammunition, besides 6.5 kg RDX, was recovered by security forces from two militant hideouts in Reasi and Poonch districts today.
While conducting searches in Budhal forests of Reasi, security forces came across a militant hideout. The search of the hideout led them to the recovery of one 5 kg
RDX-laden improvised explosive device (IED), 15 electronic detonators, 4 UBGL grenades, one UBGL launcher, 104 pika rounds and some other explosive items, according to police sources.
The hideout was later smashed by the troops. Another hideout was busted by security forces in Khad Mochian Nullah area. Four AK Rifles, one 1.5 kg RDX-laden IED, one
UBGL, 14 AK magzines, nine UBGL grenades, 12 plastic handgrenades, nine cylindrical grenades, one radio set, one Radio set unidentified, five meter safety fuse, one binocular,
10 CCT boards, eight explosive rods, 14 electronic detonators, four 9 voltage batteries and some miscellaneous items were recovered from there.
