| NSF protests amnesty to terrorists | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 13: Chairman of National Sikh Front (NSF) Varinder Jeet Singh has expressed his protest on the decision of the Centre Government to grant amnesty to the terrorists and rehabilitate them again in the country. He said that on one side the Govt. is giving amnesty to the persons who hold gun against the country and on other side in 1984 when Sikhs protested democratically on demolition of Akal Takht Sahib in foreign countries, the black list was made of those 205 people and they were not allowed to come back to India till date that list has not been looked at again. As constant reminders made by Sikh community and Akal Takht Sahib yield no fruits. He said that this issue was raised in the parliament by MP, S. S. Ahluwalia. Trilochan Singh and many others 26 times since 1985 but Govt. has not been moved by an inch. Varinder Jeet also said that the Centre Govt. in their scheme of diving apology to militants also should make it clear that will they include in this scheme, the young Sikhs who in the 1980's were by circumstances changed their way to violent activities and are still in Indian jails or are abroad or are still fighting cases in courts or this scheme is only for one community. He said that why in this country are two laws when the hanging of Afzal Guru comes then the Government says that his number is 22 on the list but Kehar Singh whose number was 14 was hanged in few days.
