| ST/SC students’ hail appointment of Naz, Swarn Lata | | |

Jammu, Feb 13:
All J&K ST/SC Students’ Federation has hailed the appointment of Bashir Ahmed Naz as Vice Chairman of Gujjar Bakerwal Advisory Board and Swarn Lata as Vice Chairperson of Scheduled Caste Advisory Board.
In a meeting of the federation held under the chairmanship of State President Haq Nawaz Choudhary at Jammu University, the members expressed gratitude to President, All India Congress Committee (I) and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi besides state government for making the appointments of Naz and Swaran Lata.
A large number of students from various professional and non professional colleges besides Jammu University Scholars and students participated in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, Haq Nawaz described Bashir Ahmed Naz as honest, well educated, dynamic and brave leader of Gujjar-Bakerwal Community.
Choudhary further said in this crucial time there was a dire need of such type of leader leading the community.
