| JJSF protests Valentine’s Day | | |

JAMMU, Feb 14
To protest Valentine Day celebrations, Jammu Joint Students’ Federation (JJSF) today held a demonstration near Shaheedi Sthal at Government Gandhi Memorial Science College.
The protest, led by Sahil Choudhary (President, GGM Science College), was against adopting the western culture in the name of Valentine’s Day.
Besides raising slogans against celebration of Valentine’s Day, the protesting activists of JJSF also burnt greeting cards.
Addressing the protestors, Partap Singh Jamwal (State Vice President, JJSF) pointed out that why the youths of Jammu are taking up western culture and forgetting their own Duggar Culture.
He further said that our Duggar culture is historical but its identity is in danger as people of Jammu are slowly but steadily forgetting it adding that western culture is fake and alien, which reminds us of two hundred years of slavery.
JJSF appeals all the students and generally Jammu people not to accept this fake culture and the people should boycott celebrating such functions highlighting the western lifestyle.
