| Chamber appreciates extension of Excise package | | |

JAMMU, Feb 14
Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu hails the efforts of the state government in presenting the case of development of trade and industry in the state in an effective manner with the Union Finance Minister before the presentation of Union Budget 2010.
The demands of Industry to extend the package of the exemption of Excise duty, Income Tax Holiday, Interest Subsidy etc are likely to be met.
According to a press statement, the Chambers lauded the efforts of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Industries & Commerce Minister SS Salathia in convincing the Union Finance Minister to give a North-East type package to our state.
We also hail the gesture of Chief Minister and Industries & Commerce Minister to make President Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu and prominent members of the chamber representing industry of Jammu along with the Presidents of Federation of Chambers of Industries Kashmir, Kashmir Chamber of Commerce & Industry as a part of the delegation which met the Union Finance Minister at New Delhi on February 13.
Chamber of Commerce & Industry Jammu fully supports and ensures the Chief Minister and Industries Minister to make their vision of making the state a fully industrialized region a reality.
