| BJP Anusuchit Jaati Morcha felicitates Shamsher | | |

JAMMU, Feb 14
Bharatiya Janata Party Anusuchit Jaati Morcha today felicitated the newly elected state president of BJP, Shamsher Singh Manhas at party headquarters here.
The workers led by state president of the Morcha, Narsingh Dass Rajwal honoured Shamsher Singh by tying the Dogra turban and presented a shawl. A number of senior SC leaders also garlanded the new president on the occasion.
Addressing the Morcha workers, Shamsher Singh alleged that the scheduled caste communities have been exploited by the Congress for the vested interest of vote bank politics since the Independence and till date Congress has no clear policy of social justice.
He said, “The BJP is working for the cause of nationalism in the State as it is the terrorism- affected state and anti-national forces are hell bent to separate the state from rest of the country.”
He assured the workers that BJP would make all-out efforts for the welfare of Scheduled Caste communities in the State and their rights. He said the recent move of the NC-Congress coalition to ban inter district recruitment has badly harmed the interests of the educated SC youth and declared that the BJP will not allow this move to be implemented at any cost.
Narsingh Dass Rajwal, in his address, said that the election of Shamsher Singh would encourage party workers as he belongs to a farmers’ family. He also assured the state president that the Morcha would not leave any stone unturned for strengthening the party among the SC community.
Others who also garlanded Manhas and greeted him on being elected as state president included Bansi Lal Bharti, Balbir Ram, Ashok Gandhi, Adarsh Bhagat, Bishan Dass Naryal, Balwan Singh, Jeet Angral, Moti Lal, Puran Bhagat, Faqir Nath, Sher Singh, Raj Kumar, Shyam Sunder, Pawan Bhagat, Arun Rajwal and Vivek Kumar.
