Jammu and Kashmir Chapter of Association of Surgeons of India organized a Hernia Symposium in Jammu Club wherein eminent Surgeons from GMC Jammu, ASCOMS, SJIMS and allied Health Services participated.
Lt General (Retd) Dr L P Sadotra was chief guest who started the function by lightening traditional lamp. Dr (Prof) Nisar A Choudhary, Chairman JAKASI spoke on Ulcerative Colitis, Dr Baldev Secretary, JKASI gave details regarding Hernia Kits Surgeries.
Speakers included Dr B S Pathania, Dr Subash Abrol, Dr R K Chrungoo, Dr Sanjay Bhasin, Dr K C Sharma who highlighted on the topic of Philosophy of Surgery and echo of a Surgeon. The function was organized by Dr Subash Abrol and Dr Shyam K Gupta and Dr Sanjay Sharma delivered vote of thanks.
