| NMC for 13th Finance Commission award | | |

National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) appealed Prime Minister to take immediate implementation of 13th Finance Commission award and provide funds to the State Govt for release of 6th Pay Commission arrears in favour of its employees and pensioners.
Subah Shastri, President, expressed hope that decision on distribution of funds to states as per 13th Finance Commission award would be taken in the next meeting of Union Cabinet.
Pleading cause of both Central and State govt. employees, he also urged the Union Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee to raise the income tax exemption limit to Rs. 3.00 lack in next years budget being present in the Parliament on February 26, budget in view of steep rise in the prices of essential commodities.
He also highlighted various demands pertaining to workers class. He expressed confidence that the next year’s budget of J&K will be working class friendly and all their genuine demands would be fulfilled. Rajan Babu Khajuria, Sunil Kochhar, Sham Lal Sharma, Ram Pal Sharma, Ramesh Chander and Others were also present. |
