| Govt appeasing anti-national elements: Samiti | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Feb 14 Jammu and Kashmir Sangarsh Samiti which was catapulted in media limelight during Amarnath land row 2008, condemned proposed ‘surrender policy’ and said that it will not allow the Govt to implement surrender policy for youth went to get armed training in Pak occupied Kashmir (PoK). Addressing a press conference here today at Geeta Bhawan Brig Suchet Singh Criticized the backing from Chief Minister Omar Abdullah by Union Home Minister P Chidambram. He said that ‘This surrender policy will further boost the on going terrorism to new heights which will in danger the security and territorial integrity of the nation and J&K in particularly.” ‘Such policy will amount to complete surrender before the anti-national and the seccessionists forces’, he said, adding ‘this also will affect the morale of security forces who are being sandwiched only to appease the separatist and anti-national elements’. Samiti members unanimously resolved that the nationalists forces all over India and particularly in J&K state must unite together to fight unitedly against the dubious and dangerous designs of state and the central government and further warned centre and stat govts to detest from going ahead to implement the surrender policy, otherwise the nationalists forces will be compelled to agitate on the roads. He also informed that Sangarsh Samiti is going to organize some programme in the next week against this surrender policy. Reacting to the statement of two State Ministers namely the MOS for Tourism, Nasir Aslam Wani and MOS for Health Javed Ahmed of equating the return of terrorists with the retrun of Kashmiri Pandit migrants, Dr Agnisekhar, convenor, Panun Kashmir said, “Its is nothing but an insult of Kashmiri Pandits”. He said it is most unfortunate and amounts to denegrading the nationalist KP migrants whose exodus was forced under a well planned design of ethnic cleansing in Kashmir valley by the antinational elements and their mentors across the border. “We were forced to leave their homes and hearths by the anti-national elements and terrorists”, he said, demanding action against the two ministers saying they have no moral right to continue as ministers. He also said that during next 15 days all the associations should organize protest rallies, burn effigies of Union Home Miniter and Chief Minister of J&K and prepare people for a greater and decisive struggle. If the government is really interested to solve the issues in J&K it should solve the problems of displaced kashmiri Pandits, Problems of West Pok refugees, 1947 POK refugees and terror victims of Jammu province, borders areas problems, delimitation, discrimination and jobs for the unemployed youths.
