| Slathia takes stock of people’s problems | | |

JAMMU, Feb 14
To assess the problem of local people, Minister for Industries and Commerce, Surjit Singh Slathia today conducted extensive tour of various areas of Vijaypur constituency, which is being represented by him.
On the occasion, Slathia interacted with the people and listened to their problems and demands. He issued on the spot instruction to the concerned officers for redressal of the genuine demands of the people.
Minister visited Udh Mandi and announced that a tube well would be constructed in the village to meet the drinking water requirements.
At village Garh Mandi, he inaugurated lane and drains and instructed for installation of high mast lights in the localities.
Slathia also visited villages of Sahni Mandi, Ghrarota Mandi, Adhrar Mandi and Bhadar Mandi and listened to people’s problems.
Minister for Industries and Commerce instructed the officers to redress the problems on priority. He asked them to work with devotion and dedication and ensure that all ongoing works in the area should be completed within stipulated time frame.
A team of officers and engineers accompanied the minister during his day long tour.
