| Madan conducts extensive tour of Sumbh | | |

SAMBA, Feb14: With a view to personally access people’s problems, Member of Parliament Madan Lal Sharma today conducted a hectic tour of the Sumbh area of district Samba.
Speaking a largely attended gathering at village Goran, Sharma said that the Central Government headed by Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is committed to achieve over all development of the state and is extending libral funds under various schemes for the purpose.
He said that the present coalition government in the State is equally responding to the development initiatives launched by the Central Government and the State would witness a new era of infrastructural development in near future.
Vice Chairmen SC, ST and OBC advisory Boards, Additional District Development Commissioner, Samba, other district officers and Engineers of various wings accompanied the Member Parliament during the tour.
A large number of deputations met the Member Parliament and apprised him of the problems being faced by them pertaining to road connectivity, drinking water and power supply.
Sharma gave patient hearing to their problems and asked the engineers to prepare a comprehensive project for the road connectivity of the area.
