SRINAGAR, Feb 14: Minister for Medical Education, R.S. Chib paid surprise visit of SMHS Hospital Srinagar and SKIMS, Bemina today and took stock of medicare facilities being provided to the patients in these hospitals.
Chib went round various wards both indoor as well as outdoor. He inspected diagnostic lab, X-Ray, ECG and other vital units of these hospitals.
He presided over meetings of faculty members both at Government Medical College, Srinagar and SKIMS, Bemina.
Principal, GMC, Srinagar, Dr. Shahida Mir, Director, SKIMS Soura, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar and Principal SKIMS, Bemina, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad attended the meeting.
Chib during his visit to GMC, Srinagar inspected Radiation cum Oncology block, under construction at a cost of Rs. 12 crore, expected to be commissioned shortly.
