JAMMU, Feb 15
Minister of State for Higher Education Manohar Lal Shrama has enjoined upon the teaching community and parents to jointly contribute in imparting quality and standard education to the students.
Addressing annual day function organized by Swami Vivekanand School, Chadwal in Hiranagar Tehsil, the Minister said that nations are shaped in classrooms and it is the obligatory duty of the teaching community to provide quality education to the students and inculcate good habits among them.
On the occasion, Principal of the School readout the annual report of the school and dwelt at length on the achievements registered by the school during the previous years.
Students presented a variety cultural programme on the occasion, which kept the audience spell bound.
Minister distributed trophies among the students who excelled in various cultural programmes and have brought laurels to the school in academics.
Earlier, the Minister inaugurated a tube well at Parayli village installed to augment irrigation facilities for the farmers of the area.
