JAMMU, Feb 15: The Department of Strategic and Regional Studies (DSRS), University of Jammu, is launching a lecture series named after Brig. Mohammad Usman, the legendary military hero of the Indian Army.
The proposed lecture series is titled as Brig. Mohammad Usman Lectures on Strategy and World Politics.
The inaugural lecture of Brig. Mohammad Usman Lectures on Strategy and World Politics would be delivered by Dr. Muthiah Alagappa, distinguished senior fellow, East-West Centre, Washington DC on the topic “The Changing International Dynamics in Asia’ at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium Complex, University of Jammu at 4 p.m on February 17.
Varun Sahni, Vice-Chancellor, University of Jammu would preside over the lecture and Major General K Surendranath, GOC, 26 Infantry Division would be the Guest of Honour in the function.
