| Capacity Building Training Programme organized by SSA | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, Feb 15: Ten days Capacity Building Training Programme for in-service teachers of winter zones District Reasi was organized by the District Institute of Education & Training Reasi, under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA), which was inaugurated by Khurshaid Ahmad Reshi the State Project Director SSA. In his inaugural address he stressed upon the teachers to adapt modern techniques of teaching and create conducive environment of learning by adopting the child friendly approach. He oriented the participants that how to achieve the goals of SSA viz Universal access and enrolment, bridging the coal and gender category gaps, quality education and universal retention. He gave latest concept (LEAP) for quality improvement in education, including localized school planning, empowerment to teachers through attitudinal changes, experimental learning reflective practice, and continuous collaboration. Active Pedagogy that is learning culture through variety of learning material organized in the form of learning corners and partnership with community. Budhi Singh Principal DIET and M M Khajuria Principal Boys Higher Secondary School were also present.
