BAJ mourns demise of former Sessions Judge

JAMMU, Feb 15

Bar Association Jammu(BAJ) today suspended the work to mourn the demise of former Sessions Judge Tilak Raj Attri who died here last night.
TR Attri was born in the year 1928 and did LLB from Punjab University in 1954 and enrolled as pleader on September 28, 1954 and served as PP for about 2 years and appointed Munsiff on November 1, 1957.
Attri got voluntarily retirement on July 20, 1977 in the age of 48 years and joined politics and elevated as Minister of State in the cabinet of Sheikh Mohd Abdullah.
Due to the work suspension call given by BAJ, the work in the High Court Jammu Wing and District Court Janipur remained affected. (JNF)
