They also appreciated the development works are being started in Kathua which were sanctioned with the efforts of Babu Singh.
Singh said that price rise is out come of handicapped and one sided economic policies which provide the space only for few (10% ) people including top politicians, top industrialists and top bureaucrats to grow and 90% innocent mass almost deprived of development. He further urged upon the present government to give the relief the people by opening the several outlet to avail the complete ration including the pulses, sugar, edible oil, rice, tea, all kinds of flour and other essential items on half rates and also increase the numbers of ration depot because it is seen that in Kathua one ration depot, is allotted for more than two wards which is inadequate to meet the requirement of the people. He also demanded that the all the government should incorporate the right to work in the constitution as fundamental right to secure the economic future of the youth and government should take the responsibilities to provide the employment in government sector or private sector and until the youth is unemployed he should be provided the sufficient allowance to survive . He squarely criticized the employment policies of the government because the Rs1000 orRs1500 is a mockery with the entire inhabitants of the state not even with youth and also stressed to improve the agriculture sector by reorganizing by adopting modern technology by giving the agro industrial status and using the organic fertilizers to rejuvenate the soil which has lost the fertility due to the over use of dangerous chemical technology for high yield and in this connection the government should utilize the services of all the agriculture technocrats by regularizing them immediately.
