| SIMT celebrate Annual Day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU FEB 16: Sarvodya Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT) on Tuesday celebrated it Annual Day function. Minister for Revenue, Raman Bhalla was the Chief Guest while as Corporator Surinder Singh Shingari was Guest of Honour. Function started with lightening of ceremonial lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana and colourful cultural items presented by the students including Dogri, Punjabi and Western dances.
Managing Director of Institute, Vinay Gupta presented the annual report of the institute and highlighted the achievement.
Minister distributed the prizes to the meritorious students include Ambika Sharma, Anuradha for I-Semester and Bhanu Bhatia for II-Semester. Besides prize for best student of the year went to Nisha Mehra in woman category and Rohit Singh in man, best smiling face of the year prize bagged by Nisha Mehra in women category and Himanshu Gupta in man category. The programme was compared by Meghalini and Indu Sharma and vote of thanks presented by Bhanu Bhatia.
