| NC’s membership drive | | Nazir calls for active participation | |

JAMMU, Feb 17
General Secretary National Conference (NC) Sheikh Nazir Ahmad has stressed party workers to take active part in the membership drive and ensure its success by enrolling all the people who posses strong affiliations with the organization and its manifesto.
Addressing one day convention of party workers from Jammu Rural ‘B’ here today, Sheikh Nazir said that NC has proved its secular credentials on several occasions and need no certificate to this effect from the communal and destructive forces.
He said that our party leadership has offered great sacrifices for the unity of state and upholding the democratic norms.
Expressing anguish against the forces who are bent upon division of people in the name of regions and religions, Nazir said that party will not ever let their designs to succeed.
He called upon the party activists to prepare themselves for Panchayat and local bodies’ elections to ensure success for NC nominees.
