| 11 get bail in Shopian case | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Feb 17: The Chief Judicial Magistrate today allowed bail petition of 11 accused named in the CBI charge sheet for “destroying evidence” in Shopian twin rape and murder case. The president High Court Bar Association, Mian Abdul Qayoom appeared for the accused. Allowing the bail petition, the court urged the accused to submit bail bonds to the tune of RS 10000 each. The case has been fixed for hearing on April 17. The accused include lawyers of Shopian Bar, doctors and relatives of the victims. Later the relatives of victims staged a dharna in the Press Enclave and demanded `justice’. Talking to news men the angry relatives said that they had staged the dharna to express solidarity with the persons named in the CBI charge sheet.
