| Azad condoles Suri’s demise | | | Srinagar, October 11 – Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has expressed profound grief over the demise of Mr. Lalit Suri, a prominent hotelier. Mr. Azad said that the contribution of Mr. Suri in developing tourist infrastructure in private sector has been remarkable. He said that establishment of a leading hotel by Mr. Suri in the Kashmir valley at the peak of militancy, when everybody was winding up hotel business activities, proves his vision and love for the people of the state. Chief Minister said that Mr. Suri was undeterred of militancy and establishment of hotel in the valley provided good opportunity to the people coming from outside to organize conferences, tournaments and other tourist related activities in the state. Mr. Azad expressed his sympathies with the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. |
