JAMMU, Feb 18: The Deputy Chairman, J&K Legislative Council, S Arvinder Singh Micky has directed for taking up works for beautification of the Council Secretariat and its surrounding on war footing.
The Deputy Chairman issued the orders at a meeting held to discuss arrangements for upcoming budget session. The meeting discussed, threadbare, issues related to smooth conduct of the Budget session.
Among others, Secretary Council, Director Estates, Director Tourism, and Director Floriculture, officers of Council Secretariat attended the meeting.
Earlier, the Deputy Chairman went round the Council Secretariat to assess the work on the spot and passed the direction with regard to beautification and renovation of Council Hall and Council Lawns.
