| ‘Remove conditions from employment package’ | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 19
Youth All India Kashmiri Samaj (YAIKS) has expressed strong concern over the ways and means in implementation of the Prime Minister’s employment package. YAIKS members raised the issue in a meeting of the Executive Council body which was chaired by its President RK Bhat here today. The members in the meeting expressed dissatisfaction on the rigid attitude of the government for not removing the special conditions in respect of this employment drive 2010 for migrants. Addressing the members of the working committee RK Bhat promised that the organization shall fight for the remaining problems identified with full vigor like enhancement of cash relief and remaining 3000 posts. He said that we shall wait and carefully watch the workings of the administration and supervision of the employment drive, by the Service Selection Board. He stressed that red tapeism in the implementation of the employment drive. Bhat urged the government to start short listing of the candidates for the final appointment orders. He reiterated the demand of seven years age relaxation for over aged youth and one time financial aid to the migrant youth who have crossed the upper age limit. Questioning the government’s move to rehabilitate dreaded militants who have crossed over to PoK, YAIKS president asked then why the authorities are ignoring Kashmiri Pandit youth who are nationalists and first victim of the terrorism in Kashmir? Bhat urged the government to adopt a realistic approach towards Kashmiri Pandit youth, who have suffered badly for the last two decades.
