| Panthers enroll 2000 new members | | |

Nearly 300 youth and farmers joined Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) in its membership drive here and pledged to uphold the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the nation. They expressed their commitment for reorganization of the state so that each region shall be able to receive equal treatment. JKNPP president and MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia signed the first 25 membership forms while the remaining membership forms were countersigned by party’s State General Secretary and Incharge of Rajouri District Anita Thakur and Working President of Rajouri district Shamsher Singh. Addressing series of public meetings at Sunderbani, Nowshera and Chingus, Mankotia said that Panthers Party is a revolution, change for betterment and its mission of ‘Samul Kranti’ is the only way out to deliver justice to the wretched of the earth particularly those who have been living in poverty and rags in the rural areas. JKNPP president lauded the efforts of the party activists for their strenuous efforts in making the membership campaign a success in border districts of Poonch and Rajouri. He declared that one lakh members shall be raised in Rajouri and Poonch districts by the end of March this year. At Mendhar, Daljit Singh, State Vice President and Incharge of Poonch District while welcoming the State President declared that Panthers Party was the only political movement in the J&K which was acceptable to anybody and everybody. On the occasion, Balwant Singh Mankotia who re-enrolled Mohammad Tariq, added hundred new members with his own hand. Another 400 members were raised during a brief halt and meeting of the state president. Addressing a gathering of Panthers Party workers there, Balwant Singh Mankotia made a strong appeal to the youth in particular to join Panthers Party to strengthen the revolution of ‘Samul Kranti’ which alone can bring justice and equality to every man. The membership campaign of Panthers Party took off in the twin border districts following a rally at Sunderbani yesterday under the presidentship of Shamsher Singh, which was attended by Balwant Singh Mankotia and Anita Thakur.
