4-Day seminar on Hindi Journalism concludes

JAMMU, FEBRUARY 20: A 4-day seminar on “Status and direction of Hindi Journalism in State” concluded here today. The seminar was organized by Kendria Hindi Sangathen, New Delhi.
Minister of State for Cooperative, Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion. The main aim of holding the seminar was to promote Hindi language in journalism and motivate the students to adopt the same.
The Minister appreciated the step of the organizers for holding the seminar in the State. He enjoined upon the students to take interest in the Hindi Journalism as Jammu division has large readership and urged for setting up a Kendra in Jammu and Kashmir. He said the organization can play a vital role in promoting Hindi language.
Dr. Manohar gave away certificates among the student who participated in the seminar during the past four days.
Renowned writers and academicians also spoke and highlighted the role of Hindi Journalism. These include, Prof. O. P. Gupta, Manoj Sharma, Dr. Nirmal Vinod and Prof. Panday.
