SAMBA, FEBRUARY 21-Minister for Industries and Commerce ,Mr. Surjit Singh Slathia today visited Ramgarh and paid obeisance at the Sri Guru Ravi Dass ji Gurdwara where a function was organised in connection with the celebrations of birth Anniversary of the great Saint.
Addressing the congregation, the Minister said that Guru Ravi Dass , the apostle of peace, brotherhood and togetherness, has always pleaded the cause of poor and downtrodden sections of the society. He appealed the people to follow his teachings and serve the poor sections of the society, which was a real tribute to the great Saint.
Mr. Slathia assured the people that the Government will continue to implement with commitment, the schemes and programmes meant for the poor and weaker sections of the society and ensure that concession benefits prescribed under rules for the Reservation classes are not deviated.
