| SKUAST-J authorities deceive candidates: PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 21: The youth wing of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has flayed authorities to SKUAST-Jammu for deceiving candidates of Kashmir Valley who had applied for the post of driver. In a statement issued here, Bashir Asad said that more than a hundred candidates from Kashmir Valley were asked to appear in the written examination for drivers in SKUAST Jammu. “The candidates were shell shocked when question papers were distributed to them in Hindi. All the candidates of Kashmir Valley were not aware of the Hindi but authorities have not provided them any other option,” he pointed and termed this action as conspiracy to debar them from the recruitment process. Demanding inquiry into whole episode, Asad said that question papers should be circulated in Hindi, English and Urdu language as Urdu is the official language of the State. He further demanded written test should be held again so that Urdu knowing candidates of Kashmir Valley should be given a change. He warned that if justice will not be done with these candidates, PDP would not hesitate to take some extreme steps. Bashir Asad, earlier interacting with Valley based candidates, who called him this afternoon, assured that PDP will effectively take up this matter with the concerned authorities.
