EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Feb 21: SS Jain Sabha Jammu in collaboration with Rotary Club Mahavir Jammu organised a free eye check-up here today. A team of senior Ophthalmologists led by Dr. S.P Sharma and Dr. Manoj Kumar Yadav from KLSM Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur examined over 200 patients, gave them medicines and selected 15 patients for further Surgery. Former BJP state president and MLA Jammu East, Ashok Khajuria inaugurated the camp. He appreciated the office bearers of SS Jain Sabha and Rotary Club Mahavir for organizing such a camp which proved to be of a great help to the poor patients in particular. He asked the organizers to organize such more camps in other parts of Jammu East constituency. Ashok Khajuria, on this occasion, announced that he has released funds to the tune of Rs. 10 lakh from his Constituency Development Fund for the construction of hall in the premises of SS Jain Sabha. Among those who were present on the occasion included Varinder Jain, president, Gyatnandan Jain, vice-president, Varinder Jain, secretary S.S. Jain Sabha, Jammu, Sanjeev Jain, president, Suresh Jain, vice-president, Aman Jain secretary, Koushal Jain Director, Sumit Jain joint secretary, Puneet Jain, Amit Jain, Munish Jain, Manu Jain and Varun Jain attended the camp from Rotary Club Mahavir Jammu. Among the guests present were Prem Shanker Singh, R.K Chouhan, Harbans Singh, K.K. Gupta and Dr. Gaurav Vaid.
