| Sprawling Buds presents mesmerizing show on Annual Day | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, February 22: Sprawling Buds, a Kinder Garten of Sunrise School, Laxmipuran Chinore in Bantalab today presented mesmerizing cultural show to celebrate the Annual Day at Abhinav Theatre, here this afternoon.
Young toddlers from pre-nursery to second standard took part in various dance, sports and message giving skits while those seniors displayed their skills in yoga, teakwondo and cultural programme thus entertained the gathering of parents and students.
Minister for Higher Education, Labour and Employment, Abdul Gani Malik was chief guest while Director School Education, Zahida Khan and president All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference, AN Vaishnavi was guests of honour.
Minister gave away prizes to the achievers in academic, sports and cultural activities held during the academic year.
Later, he in his address, Minister was all praise for the management of the school for raising the standard of the institution with in a short span of four years of its coming into being. Witnessing the exposure and talent among the young students of the school through various activities, Minister said that the school has every quality to qualify for being one of the best institutions of the city in next five years.
He said that when these young toddlers will reach the higher classes they would certainly bring in encouraging results for the institution.
To begin with, the little toddlers from Pre-Nursery and Nursery wing presented an eye catching fancy dress competition. Young students also took part in Yoga Aasans and exhibited their martial art skills. It was followed by the presentation of various dance items by the students.
Earlier, Director of the School, Arti Sharma welcomed the chief guest and other special invitees as also the parents of the students in the three-hour long function. It was followed by the presentation of annual report by the Principal of the school, Pooja Sharma. She owes the credit of achievements of the school in short span of time to the dedicated staff and support of the parents.
