| HUJI Section Commander apprehended from Doda | | |
JAMMU OCT-11- A Section Commander of HUJI militant outfit was apprehended from Doda district today.
Acting on a specific information regarding the presence of one militant Kalu son of Faqir Mohammed resident of Kurar Bonjwah affiliated with HUJI outfit in Bonjwah area, Doda Police with the assistance of Army launched a joint operation in the area and succeeded in apprehending the said militant.
The arrested militant reported to be Section Commander of HUJI outfit was active since 1999 in Kither, Chatroo, Kishtwar and Kuntwara area of the Doda district.
A police spokesman said that the arrested militant is being questioned and some important clues regarding his associates and militants’ hideouts in Bonjwah and its adjoining areas are expected to come to fore for further anti-insurgency operations.
