| Bhim suspends Rajesh Padgotra from Presidentship | | |
JAMMU OCT-11- Chairman Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party Prof Bhim Singh have suspended Rajesh Padgotra from the Presidentship of Rural District Jammu with immediate effect for party indiscipline and violating the mandate of the party.
Jagdev Singh Coordination Secretary of the Party in a handout issued here today said that as reported in some newspapers that Panthers Party workers led by Rajesh Padgotra burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister, which has not been denied by Padgotra. The Panthers Party has clear mandate not to politicize the death sentence of a convict and party leadership takes this irresponsible act as breach of mandate, the handout claimed.
Jagdev Singh said that Padgotra has been issued a notice to explain his conduct within one week and in the meanwhile he stands suspended from the post of rural district President. Shiv Charan Singh retired ZEO and former District Rural President has been asked to look after the function of Rural District, the hand out said.
