JAMMU, Feb 23: Deputy Chairman, Legislative Council, Arvinder Singh Micky today administered oath to Sheikh Ghulam Rasool as Member of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council.
The oath was administered to the newly nominated Member in the office chambers of the Deputy Chairman.
Union New and Renewable Energy Minister, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah, Minister for Finance, Abdul Rahim Rather, Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Mohammad Sagar, Political Advisor to Chief Minister, Devinder Singh Rana, Legislators, M.Y. Taing, Mohammad Rashid Quereshi, Sheikh Ghulam Qadir Pardesi, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Vijay Bakaya, Narboo Gialchan, Ali Mohammad Dar, Bashir Ahmed Magray, Syed Ahmed Razvi, Mohammad Amin Bhat and political leaders were present on the occasion.
