| DG NCC arrives on 2-day visit today | | |
JAMMU OCT-11- Lt General P S Choudhary Director General National Cadet Corprs (NCC) is arriving here on a two- day visit to Jammu and Kashmir tomorrow. This will be his first visit to the State after talking over the DG NCC.
On his arrival, the Director General would visit NCC Directorate here where Brig S K Sharma Deputy Director General DG NCC will brief him about the functioning of NCC in Jammu and Kashmir and various other aspects connected with it. The visiting General is also likely to be apprised about the Special National Integration Camp which is being organized at NCC camping ground at Nagrota .The General would visit Nagrota on October 13 to interact with the cadets who have come from all over India.
Before taking as DG NCC, P S Choudhary held various command assignments including Commander HQ 123 Mountain Brigade, Commander HQ 61 Independent Sub Area and GOC Delta Force .He held the post of Commandant of Rajputana Rifles Regimental Centre Delhi during the crucial Kargil operations.
