| Hurriyat delegation calls on Bhushan Bazaz | | |

NEW DELHI, FEB 23: The Hurriyat delegation accompanying Mirwaiz Umar Farooq today called on Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum president Bhushan Bazaz at his South Delhi residence. Bazaz has recently undergone heart treatment at a private hospital here and is reportedly recovering after blockade in two arteries were removed by doctors about three weeks ago.
Bazaz is thought to be a close to Mirwaiz though other sections of the Hurriyat too have expressed their concern over the health of the JKDF leader who hails from the Valley and has stood for peace and amity throughout Jammu and Kashmir as also better and improved relations between India and Pakistan.
Earlier, Syed Ali Shah Gilani had sent a messenger expressing desire to meet Bazaz and wish him speedy recovery but the Hurriyat leader could not make it himself because of his own poor health.
