| APHC hails peace talks move | | |

Jammu, Feb 24: Senior leader of the APHC and JK Salavation movement Zaffar Akber Bhat during his week-long tour to various parts of Jammu province, besides communicating the message of restoration of peace and protection of human rights throughout the whole of the state, has appreciated the peace talks move between India and Pakistan as an encouraging step.
Welcoming the initiative, the chairman has made it clear that the representative leadership of APHC was the only real and the basic forum for the peaceful honourable settlement of the longest pending issue of Kashmir.
Making the fact further clear, the chairman has said that the dedicated meaningful triparte dialogue between India / Pakistan and Hurriyat leadership alone can serve the purpose of restoration of peace in subcontinent.
The chairman, further expressing the deepest expectations attached to the dialogue process has recorded the historical background of Kashmir .
“The unity of all sections of the general public of the state is itself a well established history since centuries. Any efforts by any circle aimed at tarnishing this historical established brotherhood background will not be allowed tolerated or compromised”.
The chairman is association with the representative of peoples movement Mohd Saleeem, representative of Awami Action Committee Abdul Gani and Javaid Ahmad Wani further visited Kortbilwal, Heeranagar and Udhampur jails of Jammu province.
The chairman, taking serious note of the harassing presence of force pressures on the ground in Poonch, Rajouri, Kisthwar, Doda hilly areas, stated that the patience of the peaceful public has been put to such tests of unwarranted harassment.
The chairman has demanded immediate unconditional release of all detained APHC leaders, further appealing the peace loving world community for their dedicated efforts for protection against the human rights violation by using their influence upon the central and state government
