| NC expels Rashida Begum from primary membership | | |
JAMMU OCT-11- Rashida Begum Municipal Corporator Ward NO 6 of Jammu Municipal Corporation and National Conference activist has been expelled from the primary membership of the party for her anti-party activities for six years.
This was stated in a party handout issued here today.
It may be recalled that Rashida Begum had recently revolted against Ajay Sadhotra Vice President NC Jammu province and criticized the appointment of Bilma Luthra as President of the Women Wing of Jammu. The supporters of Rashida Begum had threatened to come to streets and lodge protest dharna at the party headquarters here from today, if Bimla Luthra was allowed to continue on the post bestowed to her by Sadhotra without holding any election for the same.
