| Take effective steps to eradicate the menace of corruption : Sangram Sena | | | Early Times Report Jammu , Feb 24
A meeting of Sangram Sena. Jammu and Kashmir. was held under the chairmanship of Capt. Rattan Singh Langeh, Gen. Secretary of Sena in which all the executive body members were present.
During the meeting, Capt Langeh said that the present government headed by Omar Abdullah as CM prior to formation of government during recent election said that his first and formst duty shall be eradication of corruption in government machinery, but unfortunately those promises proved utter failure since the corruption is so deep rooted that it eats vitals of our system,.
He demanded that Omar Abdullah in order to save the masses in J&K should take effective steps to eradicate the menace of corruption which should come from high level from secretariat so that lower level will follow likewise.
Addressing the meeting, Langeh said that in forest department corruption is so deep- rooted that roots of jungle is eradicated. Forest which is termed as green gold of the state is subjected to huge losses inspite of the directions of High court of J&K.
He demanded immediate intervention of Omar Abdullah in order to fulfill the promises extended by him during elections campaign.
Among other who spoke includes Rajesh Pathania, C. Org. Sangram Sena, Th. Ravi Singh, president, Kameeni, Ajay Sharma, President Keshav Bhagat, and others.
