Sangarsh flays Chidambaram, demands his resignation in national interest
2/25/2010 1:41:38 AM

Early Times Report
JAMMU: , Feb 24 THE members of Sangarsh today severely criticized the Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram on the `Surrender Policy’ to rehabilitate the Kashmiri terrorists who have crossed over to POK to wage jihad against the Indian Union.

He warned that it was better on the national interest that Mr P. Chidambaramould resign as the Union Home Minister so that the national security was not compromised in the sensitive geopolitical state of the Indian Union.”

In a joint press conference organised by its office-bearers, Mahesh Kaul said that “the role played by Mr.P Chidambaram from his so called initiative of Quiet Diplomacy to the present policy of the rehabilitation of the Kashmiri terrorists who have crossed over to the POK is contradictory, which will be detrimental to the integrity and sovereignty of the Indian Union”.

The press conference was jointly addressed by Ranjeetarma, President, Suresh Kumar, General Secretary and Mahesh Kaul-, Organising Secretary .

Commenting on the ban on pre-paid mobiles and linking it to the rehabilitation of the Kashmiri terrorists, he said the Home Minister was strictly for the ban on the pre-paid mobile services and overnight he had taken a U turn to rehabilitate those people who in his opinion the beneficiaries of this service”.

``On the recent visit to the state, Chidabaram said that the terrorist incidents have increased and yet at the same time, he said that terrorists will be rehabilitated. By seeking to rehabilitate the elements who have waged war against the Indian nation and ignoring the refugees of 1947 and the Kashmiri migrants. It seems that the Union Home Ministry has arrived at a unilateral consensus to humiliate the nationalistic forces in J&K and bail out the separatists to give concessions to the secessionist forces so that the non -territorial settlement of the J&K issue is forced upon the minorities of the state, thus reducing them as a stateless people, ’’ Kaul said .

He said that by this approach, Mr P. Chidambaram has lost his credibility among the nationalist forces in the state .His policy of rehabilitating the Kashmiri terrorists is tantamount to legalization of infllitration. His strategies and policies in dealing with the separatism and its impact in terms of ethnic cleansing of the minorities leads to the conclusion that under his leadership there is a premium on separatism and humiliation for Indian nationalism.

Among others who were present in the press conference included Meenakshi Anand,Monikaarma,Nitinarma and Varun Singh.
