| 58 youth to avail opportunities under PMEGP schemes | | | Early Times Report Kathua : FIFTY-EIGHT participants from the different parts of the district Kathua are registered to avail the opportunity under the PMEGP schemes in a two-week entrepreneurship development programme and for KVIB/KVIC/DIC beneficiaries of district Kathua organised by the KVI/KVIC/DIC at Shakti palace and inaugurated by DDC Kathua Sanjeev Verma. The main objective of the programme is to create widespread culture of the entrepreneurship to help and tackle the problem of unemployment and understand the schemes and processes involved in setting up of small scale industrial units. Mr. Sanjeev Verma focused on SKEWPY and said that district Kathua has a potential in farm and non farm sector and asked youth to come forward and take the available benefits from government sponsored schemes. The district officer of KVIB Sh. Santosh Saraf also highlighted schemes of his respective board and Dr. M.M Khan said that the policies and incentives by the state and central government it is expected that lot of investment will be attracted in the state which will generate economic development and employment in this state. The General Manager DIC Kathua Sh. Rakesh Gupta, manager Atul Kumar were also presented on the occasion.
