The sleuth of sale tax department seized a large quantity of Audio cassette and VCD which were being smuggled to Jammu from neighbouring state of Punjab.
According to Dy. Commissioner sales tax, R.K Verma that on a specific information a naka was laid and during checking if a Maruti Car under No. HR01G-3655, sale tax found 1000, audio cassette and 550 VCD hidden in the vehicle. The cost of the driver of the car has been arrested identified as Rishu Sanrat S/o Iswar Singh of Sonipath, Haryana.
