| RBI AGM holds meet, discusses bank-customers- relations | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Feb 25: A meeting was held with AGM of RBI Sh. S.P. Dudeja at Chamber House under the chairmanship of President Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Sh. Y.V. Sharma wherein various points regarding bank-customers-relations and difficulties being faced by the traders and customers were discussed. The members raised points regarding over charging, unnoticed closure of Saving / Current accounts which remain non operative for six months. It was also pointed out that the operation of PPF Accounts and Income Tax deposits may be started in all Nationalised Banks. Mr. Dudeja assured to take up these points at higher level and suggested that any complaint regarding overcharging of any kind with regard to debit or credit cards may be made with the respective banks in writing and if that is not sorted out within 20 days, the complaint can be lodged with the AGM Banking Ombudsman Office of RBI Building Parliament street New Delhi-1- Phone Nos. 011-23736270-71, 23730632-33.
